The new concept lenses patented by Samsung will change the game of smart wearable tech.

They say that a person’s eyes are the window to their soul. What if you could somehow capture that, uninterrupted by not having to stop and pose for a selfie?

You may not see directly into a person’s soul, but you’ll know their world view by the snaps they take with the blink of an eye.

These lenses are said to be equipped with a small display screen, a camera, an antenna, and multiple sensors that can detect movement, using your eyes. i.e – blinking.

Smart glasses are known to produce limited quality images, and thus, the concept of smart contact lenses was conceived and is in the process of serious testing to improve on those grounds. Samsung filed their patent back in 2014 – and Google is also working on developing smart contact lenses.

Of course – where there is a camera, there is a concern when it comes to privacy – especially if the image lies within the eye of the beholder. So, if you spot someone checking you out – don’t tell them to take a picture because it will last longer – They literally just might! – and you won’t even know about it!

It appears that Samsung is focused, rather on the concept of these lenses, as opposed to developing the actual product.

Pretty neat though, don’t you think? 🙂
